Meet the Teacher
Welcome! My name is Rebecca Neirotti and I am your science teacher in the Theta unit! Overall, this is my ninth year teaching. I am lucky to say that this is my 7th year at Crossroads North and I have loved every minute of it. My first year here, I taught 6th grade science for the Comets unit. The last six years have been an adventure in 7th grade science.
I attended the University of Delaware and graduated in 2011 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a specialization of high qualification for Middle School Science. I absolutely love teaching middle school and am thrilled to share another year with my new students!
I grew up in Yardley, Pennsylvania with my parents and three younger sisters. I have a Boxer/Lab/Pitt mix dog named Hippo and a Husky/Labrador mix dog named Riley! I love dogs! :) Some of the things I enjoy most are spending time with my family and friends, taking my dogs for walks, relaxing on the beach, traveling whenever given the chance, dancing, baking, playing volleyball, skiing, or doing anything exciting! I love trying new things and going on adventures. I am a thrill seeker! Of course, I also love teaching, but before I became a teacher, I considered a career in fashion. I love shopping, designing, and creating. I also really enjoy coffee and Target. :)
You will learn more about me as the year goes on and I look forward to getting to know more about each and every one of you! I anticipate an exciting year ahead in Science!
